About Us
Our Process
We Built a Process Because the Industry Needed One
Most roofing companies sell you a product and hope the install goes smoothly. We built a system that keeps you informed, protects your investment, and eliminates the guesswork from start to finish.
The number one complaint homeowners have about contractors is not the quality of the work. It is the silence between signing the contract and seeing the crew show up. Nobody calls to say when materials are arriving. Nobody confirms the install date until the day before. Nobody explains what to expect on the day of the job. That silence creates anxiety, erodes trust, and turns what should be a straightforward home improvement into a stressful experience. Richard saw this pattern repeat hundreds of times during his years managing projects at a large roofing contractor, and it became one of the primary reasons he built Full House Roofing differently.
Our process is designed to make every project feel predictable in the best way possible. You know what is happening at every stage because our system tells you. You know who is working on your property because we introduce the crew. You know what the finished product should look like because we walk through it with you before we consider the job done. Below is exactly what happens from the moment you contact us through the long-term relationship that follows.
HOW WE WORK
Six Steps. Zero Surprises. Every Project, Every Time.
Free Consultation and Inspection
Everything starts with a conversation. You can call us directly at 610.795.2887, fill out the contact form on our website, or get a preliminary estimate through our instant quote tool. From there, we schedule a time to come to your home and inspect the condition of your roof and exterior. During the inspection, we get on the roof, check the shingles, flashing, ventilation, decking edges, gutters, soffit, and fascia. We take photos of everything we find. When we come back down, we walk you through what we saw, explain what needs attention now versus what can wait, and answer every question you have. There is no charge for this visit and no obligation to hire us.
Detailed Estimate and Material Selection
After the inspection, we put together a detailed written estimate that breaks down every component of the project: tear-off, disposal, underlayment, ice and water shield, shingles (brand, product line, and color), ventilation, flashing, drip edge, and cleanup. Every line item is explained so you can compare our estimate accurately against any other bid you receive. We walk you through your material options — different shingle profiles, color choices, and warranty tiers from GAF, Owens Corning, and CertainTeed — and help you select the right product for your home, your budget, and your aesthetic. If you want to explore financing through Hearth, we help you with that process as well.
Contract, Material Order, and Scheduling
Once you are ready to move forward, we finalize the contract with the agreed scope and price. The moment the contract is signed, the project enters our CRM pipeline. Materials are ordered, and you receive an automated notification confirming the order. When the materials arrive at the supplier or on site, you receive another notification. We then coordinate the crew schedule and lock in your installation date. You receive a confirmation with the scheduled date and a reminder as the day approaches. At no point during this phase should you need to call us to find out what is happening — the system keeps you informed automatically.
Installation Day
On the morning of the install, you receive a notification that the crew is on the way. The crew arrives on schedule, stages materials in a way that protects your landscaping and driveway, and begins the work according to the scope. For a typical roof replacement, the process involves tearing off the old shingles and underlayment, inspecting the decking for damage (and contacting you immediately if any is found), installing ice and water shield at vulnerable areas, laying new synthetic underlayment, installing the shingles per manufacturer specifications, addressing all flashing and penetration points, and ensuring proper ridge and intake ventilation. Throughout the day, the work area is kept as clean and organized as the job allows.
Final Walkthrough and Cleanup
When the installation is complete, the crew performs a full site cleanup: all debris is removed from the roof, yard, and driveway. We run a magnetic nail sweep across every area of the property that the crew accessed to pick up fasteners that may have fallen during the tear-off. Then we do a final quality walkthrough. We inspect the finished roof from the ground and, where accessible, from the roof itself. We check every flashing point, every ridge cap, every transition. If you are home, we walk through the finished project with you and address any questions or concerns on the spot. If you are not home, we document the completion with photos and follow up with you directly.
After Your Project: Warranty and Ongoing Relationship
The project does not end when the crew leaves. You receive documentation of the completed work, including your warranty information from both the manufacturer and Full House Roofing. Your project details stay in our system, so if you call us six months or two years later with a question about your roof, we can pull up exactly what was done, which materials were used, and when the work was completed. We are a locally owned company in Birdsboro, and we plan to be here for the long term. If something needs attention down the road — whether it is a warranty matter, a question about maintenance, or a new project on a different part of your home — you call the same number and reach the same company.
Why We Built This System
Richard spent years watching good projects turn into bad experiences — not because the work was wrong, but because nobody communicated. Homeowners were left in the dark between signing a contract and seeing a crew appear in their driveway. Materials arrived with no notice. Install dates shifted with no call. Cleanup was inconsistent. Every step of the Full House Roofing process was designed to eliminate a specific failure point that Richard witnessed during his time managing projects at a large roofing contractor. The system is not a marketing feature. It is how we actually run every project.
What This Means for You
As a homeowner, you should never have to wonder what is happening with your project. You should not have to call three times to get an update. You should not have to explain to a new person every time you reach out. Our process gives you one point of contact, automated updates at every stage, a detailed written scope before you commit, and a final walkthrough before we consider the job done. If that sounds like it should be standard, you are right. It should be. At Full House Roofing, it is.
